Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Masanabby website and Android application (the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Masanabby is record-keeping software that helps groups such as chamas, SACCOs and savings groups manage contributions, fines, expenses, documents, members and reports. Masanabby is not a bank, SACCO or financial institution, does not hold or move your group’s funds, and does not provide financial, legal or investment advice.

2. Accounts & eligibility

• You sign in using a Google account and must be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your access secure.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Groups, roles & member data

• Groups are run by their admins, who can record contributions, issue fines, approve expenses, manage members and documents, and send reminders.
• Admins are responsible for the accuracy of the records they enter and for how they manage their group.
• If you add another person’s details (for example a member’s name or phone number), you confirm you are allowed to do so and that they consent to receiving SMS notifications.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data you are not authorised to see, disrupting the Service, uploading unlawful content, or using it to defraud others.

5. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce fees in future; if we do, we will give notice before any charges apply.

6. Your content

You and your group retain ownership of the data and documents you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep it reliable and accurate, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and you remain responsible for your group’s financial decisions and records.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masanabby will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of funds, profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
